E.L.F Strawberry Creme Therapeutic Conditioning Lip Balm

I've opened this now and tried it and I love it! The packaging isn't that exciting but it does smell nice. I really like strawberry scented products and vanilla scented products that is why I bought these especially since I use lip balms often.

I use it after a sugar scrub and my lips feel lovely and soft instantly. Doesn't feel greasy at all which is a plus. They don't have a taste which I suppose is good because if they tasted as nice as they smell I'd probably have chewed through my lips!

For only £1.50 on their website, I would definitely say this was a good buy and I most likely will buy it again.

I would recommend it.

The text wasn't printed very well as you can see but still a great lip balm!

Some reviews gone..

Took off a few reviews (sorry guys) I accidentally deleted the photos from photobucket but I do have them on disk somewhere although I didn't realize I added the photos through photobucket.

They were a she said beauty box review & a natural beauty box review. Although she said beauty box is no more.

I'm due another natural beauty box soon and have a previous one to review so that should do for now !

Keep an eye out.

Newly swaps listed on bigwardrobe

Here are a few of my items newly listed on Bigwardrobe for swaps. They haven't been activated yet as the site seems to be really slow on activation the now. But just in case any members view my blog and fancy a swap here are a few previews of what I have just listed..

I also use swapz.co.uk which is a FREE swap site so if you use that instead and want to swap and there is something I like, I will list the items on there.

These are only some of the items . I have hundreds more to get rid of.

If you use bigwardrobe and like any of the following , or use swapz and like any of the following post your account name below and I'll have a look at your items listed & get back to you on the site.

A bit nervous .

A friend has asked me to be her mums wedding photographer! I'm quite nervous and its not until august. I don't have a degree in photography but I have a Fujifilm Finepix HS30EXR and love taking photos! I got a random message saying I was good at photography and her mum needed a wedding photographer so would I be interested and how much would I want if I would do it. I told her I would be fine with £50 and that's A LOT cheaper than a professional photographer but I'm not money greedy so I'm fine with that.

I've never been to a wedding before so this will be my first time. My only problem is... Is I usually only wear dark colours and most of my dresses are black! Oh dear.

I really hope I don't disappoint her mum. Her mum has seen my photos and she really likes photos I've taken so fingers crossed.

Here's a mix of some of the photos I've taken previously :

This was taken from my mums bedroom window. Its the leaves on the trees out the back.

My two cats..

Spyro and Blaze

Blaze Talking

This was taken from inside my house. The chimney the bird was on was at the end of the street.

Taken when out with Mum. Just a random bird shot.

This was taken when in a moving car.

So what do you think? Think I'll do okay at the wedding?

Three new dvds!

Again I got woke up by the post man! Two parcels for mum & one for me.

I decided to buy a few dvds on eBay the other day for 99p each. Quite a bargain if you ask me especially with free postage and they were brand new.

I swap for dvds as well so my collection is building up quite a bit now but I also sometimes buy them on ebay if there are some dvds going for 99p or £1 that I haven't already got.

This is what arrived today:

Basil, Night of the Living Dead, Pretty Smart

I've never seen this before but to be honest I've never even heard of it!

I've never heard of this either

This one I have heard of but I don't think I've ever seen it

So since I haven't seen any of them before it will give me something different to watch.

Have you bought any new dvds lately? Did you like them?

New campaign

For all of you that don't know, there is a site BzzAgent where you can get invited to join in campaigns and try products for free. All you have to do is review them honestly & share the opinions with people you know. You can use facebook , twitter, blogs and other online methods to share your opinion as well.

I've recently been invited to the Vanish Oxi Action campaign which I am looking forward to trying as I am allergic to a lot of things & a while ago found out I was allergic to a friends washing tablets and I broke out in a rash so I'm hoping I wont be the same with these.

My recent campaign invite was Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes. Again I am also looking forward to trying these because I only use ASDA Little Angels Sensitive Cotton Soft Baby Wipes due to having highly sensitive skin and a lot of allergies.

Taken from the BzzAgent website:

Simple’s Kind To Skin Cleansing Wipes are the UK’s favourite – and now they’ve made them even softer and added extra vitamin goodness. Your skin feels even happier and healthier, so you feel happier and healthier too!

  • Now thicker and softer - what luxury!
  • Now with Vitamin E and Pro Vitamin B5
  • As always - no artificial perfume, no colour and no harsh chemicals
  • Alcohol and oil free – skin doesn’t feel greasy after use
  • Available in Tesco, Boots and other retailers
  • 25 wipes per pack
  • £2.99 (subject to retailer’s discretion)

I've never tried any of Simple's products. I cannot remember what wipes I tried before I decided to stick with the ASDA ones but I do know that I broke out in a rash with them and since I've switched to ASDA Little Angels Sensitive Cotton Soft Baby Wipes, I've never had a problem.

Some people have started to receive their Vanish Oxi Action so mine might turn up soon. I'll post up a review as soon as I try it out when it arrives. Before getting to try these campaigns I wouldn't have even considered buying the products. It just wasn't something I'd think of. Especially after now finding baby wipes I'm not allergic to & washing powder I'm not allergic to I never even thought about trying others. If I do find I really like them then its a big thanks to BzzAgent for allowing me to try them for free!

Everything5Pounds Refund Came Through

So I eventually got my refund for my everything5pounds order of 2 pair of shoes that were really badly damaged and shouldn't have even been sent out in the first place.

I haven't bought anything from them since then as I'm so fed up with them sending me faulty goods.

Nearly every order I have made with them I've had to return something!! And over half the items I've ordered in total have been returned because they've been faulty.

I'm sorry but a company selling new items every day should really check their stock before sending it out to people.

If you want to see the damages the two pair of shoes I returned had then click the link below to view my past blog post with photos of the damages

I have mail!

I only had one parcel today although I haven't been buying much and swaps have died down for a bit. I knew what it was without even opening it because I didn't have anything else that I was waiting on arriving. This is what I got today :

Ooh a packet..

In a previous blog post I stated I was waiting on an adapter arriving that I bought on the 11th February at night time. I stupidly broke my other one and I needed one for my camera charger otherwise I couldn't charge the battery. I previously bought CD marker pens from this seller which arrived the next day so overall extremely fast postage

Back of the packet

Nothing exciting today but it is something I do need so it wasn't a random buy.

Being able to charge my battery means I can take more photos like these :

Spyro Watching Aladdin

Blaze And Her Toy

Blaze Loves The Camera Bag.

Spyro Under The Radiator Keeping Warm

Pain go away!!

On top of my usual back / leg and neck pain i have one wisdom tooth coming in. It started coming in last year but it is taking ages! It was sore at first then wasn't sore for quite a few months and now its agony again. When it first started getting sore i could feel the spikes of the tooth under my gum. Its about half a tooth in now and its sore again but I think it's probably taking ages just to annoy me and once this one is fully in then another one will most likely start to come in.

Tried to eat some toast and the toast kept wandering to the side of the wisdom tooth.. But as people say when you hurt something or when somethings sore, no matter how hard you try to avoid causing yourself more pain from it you never manage to avoid it.

I also woke up with a heat spot on the side of my knuckle on my pinkie finger. Not as bad but still irritating.

So not my day at all. Was going to go out with Mum and attempt to walk about but since we woke up to snow I'm housebound since I'm not paying a taxi to clydebank and back. I struggle to walk on snow because I walk on my toes although I'm starting to walk on my toes & the outer part of my foot which is probably why I'm struggling a lot more to walk lately and I'm in so much pain. Hopefully the  hospital will be able to help since physiotherapy was just too much for me.

Bigwardrobe Swap Site

Bigwardrobe has gone so quiet and a lot less active members but still some of them there. It could really do with more active swappers! The site isn't perfect, the staff aren't active but you can get some really good swaps and its a fantastic way of getting rid of unwanted stuff.

About Big Wardrobe:
You can swap things you don't use anymore or haven't used for stuff that you want or like. You can also sell your items or buy stuff although I won't buy or sell on there anymore as I really only look to swap. I've always seen it as a swap site but it seems more people are coming to sell.

Tip: You will find it really hard to sell anything with no feedback or low feedback. It's mainly a swap site and for anyone that will buy stuff most people prefer to buy from people that have a decent amount of feedback.

You do get the bad swappers in amongst the good but the handy thing is there is a forum and you can discuss anything there if there is any problems and it helps everyone else avoid them too.

Its not just a clothes swapping site.. You can swap dvds, books , household items, jewellery, makeup, games ad other stuff too.
