Birthday surprise

So I got a parcel on the 27th of April, with a return address on it that I recognised. It was a girl's address that I swapped with many times before, but we didn't have an ongoing swap so I was confused as to why I received a parcel. I thought maybe she sent one to the wrong person! 

Inside i read this note :

"Hi, I know this is a bit weird but you wanted the books and I'm not using them anymore. I noticed on facebook that it's your birthday tomorrow, so I want you to have these as a present , and as a thank you for being such an awesome swapper.

I hope you enjoy them, 

*Name Here*"

And well that made my day, 5 lovely books that I was looking forward to swap for, I got as a birthday present instead.

What a lovely lass, she knows who she is & is a delightful swapper!

I'll need to think of something nice for her birthday ^_^

Man on fire - 2004 Movie

So I watched this today, as a random movie choice and was impressed by the acting and the story of the movie. I think the actors played it well, and I felt drawn into the movie.

I won't say anything about the story of the film as I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it before, but what I will say is I feel its a movie worth watching!

Bliss ingrown hair eliminating pads (10 pads)  for 50 pads rrp is £26.60

I split this box with my mum , she took the pads and a protein mask. I wouldnt have used the pads but I know she will. I love lip balms, will probably use the pearl powder over time and will definately be trying the protein masks. I don't wear a lot of makeup and tend to remove it with baby wipes, so i will probably swap the makeup remover for another product. 

Overall I thought it was a pretty good box, especially since I got to split it with my mum! It was a first aid box this month.

Yayy!! to arrive within 3-5 working days. I'm always excited to see whats in the beauty boxes I'm subscribe to. I love a good surprise!! Who doesnt? It's my birthday next week too, and ill be recieving one beauty box just before and two or 3 after at the end / beginning of the month! Great timing too. Pamper time for me !

Quite a few parcels today. Some of the swaps I recently made online arrived! Yay! I love swapping and receiving the items, especially if I know its something I need and will make use of. I even keep an eye out to see if theres anything that my mums friends may like or people i know may like especially when birthdays are near. A lot of people swap unwanted gifts that may come of use to other people as gifts instead! I do prefer swapping over shopping, though i have to say I do like to browse ebay for bargains! 

Today I received a lovely 2 colour dotty t-shirt and I'm delighted with it, it would look lovely with leggings or even black combats. 

I also received a Gameboy Advance that was also a swap. Although I have a ds that plays gameboy advance games, I wanted to get myself a gameboy advance incase I'd prefer to play my games on that. I love nintendo consoles, there are a lot of great nintendo games out and a lot of great classic games too for the older consoles. Not all the games are great but there are a good variety of ones that are. Mario games and Pokemon games were my childhood main games and that still hasn't changed. I also loved Spyro the dragon games as a child but that was playstation, though I am glad that they have now made spyro the dragon for the Wii console.

I received the pokemon game for 3ds - Super pokemon rumble. I bought this on ebay for £17. I seen a lot of auctions go higher than that so I'm quite happy getting the game for that price as I am rather keen on it already.

Since my 3ds is new, I did the smart thing and bought myself some screen protectors to protect the screens from damage. I've done this with my iphone 4, nds original, sony ericcson satio (which i use for camera) and now my 3ds. I like to have the screens protected with a screen protector, keeps them in good condition. I may get on for the gameboy advance too, although it has quite a few scratches already its still a good idea to protect it from more.. 

Pokemon Game : Super Pokemon Rumble 3ds

So, I've heard different opinions about this game, but now its time to share my own

I've just started playing it and played it for about an hour, and so far I really like it. I like the idea of the game and how its different to other pokemon games. I do like the other pokemon games, but a lot are similar but with different amounts of pokemon and its good to have different types of games like pokepark , pokemon stadium, pokemon snap, pokemon battle revolution etc. 

The fun dies down if it is just similar storylines for the games all the time.

I think the graphics in this game are rather cute as they're toys instead of normal pokemon figures . 

I look forward to continuing the game!

First Birthday Present

So , I'm nearly 21! 

Got my first present. I never expect much for my birthday as I don't celebrate it. Though, I have to say I will make use of this:

Nintendo 3DS  

I love games, especially pokemon, even being nearly 21!  This now means i can trade game to game and get the latest games. 

I prefer nintendo consoles as I feel they have better games than xbox and playstation, but thats just my opinion.

 

Kitty Tv!

It seems my cat Blaze really likes watching tv. Everytime I put a movie on she jumps onto a box infront of the tv and sits and watches the movie! There have been a few movies that she actually sat and watched quite a bit of. 

I found a website specifically for cats and their entertainment. It has a video clip for cats to watch of a bug walking about the screen and some other clips. My cats really took to the bug one and started pawing at my tv when i put it on the tv through the wii! Then every other time I turned my wii on, my cats thought Bug was coming on tv haha. It entertains the cats and they entertain you.
