My recent one and only empty..

So this is my recent "empty" product. . . 

I remember getting this Argan Oil from a beauty box previously but couldn't tell you which one though.. But anyway it got well used!! Now to use the rest of my products. I did have some other things I used up recently like bath bombs (that I didn't make) but didn't see much point in taking photos of plastic wrappers lol!! 

I always used this when going for a bath. Does anyone use it? If so how do you use yours? x

March - The Natural Beauty Box & My Thoughts

So this is what I received in my March Natural Beauty Box (That arrived in April).

The Natural Beauty Box is a beauty box from Canada. They ship to different parts of the world. I'm in the UK & my box cost me £19.50 total. 

Unfortunately I had to chase up my box, as did others as they did not keep us informed on when it was going to be shipped.. And by the time we came into the month April, people started wondering where the March box was!

I got told on the 18th March it would be shipped soon. I got a dispatch email 12th April. Almost a month after I was told it would be shipped soon.

I love their boxes, although the lack of communication and having to chase up the boxes is a very poor way to run a business. I had to ask them the same thing in a few emails (not in the same day) before I got a reply .. And once you pay all you have is the paypal receipt email, no email from them.. 

I just wish they'd improve their customer service a bit and communicate more with their customers.  Oh and also not tell us a box will be shipped soon if it isn't going to be.

First Product...

 This is the Natural Luxury Frangipani Extra Moisturizing Facial Exfoliant. According to the leaflet this is worth $19.50 and is full size at 1oz. By checking google 1oz is around 28g . To be completely honest I will most likely swap this as I don't really put much on my face and I already have an exfoliator I really like.

ONTO THE 2ND PRODUCT.. 

 This is a makeup item and will also be swapped.. Temptations Bath 'n' Body Queen Oompabulous Pot Of Chroma - Treasure Island.  Again this is full size and worth $24.95 . This is a makeup product that can be used as an eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, bronzer, and even as a lip colour. They do it in different shades. This is 0.5oz.

3RD PRODUCT...

 Pure Anada Loose Eyeshadow Velvet Matte Shade Latte 1g. Full size worth $8. This will also be swapped.

 PRODUCT 4....

 This I was happy about. Not something I would use but with it being my mums birthday in 3 days and she has been trying stuff to help her under eyes this was a PERFECT gift.. (along with the other things I got her) This is Dr. M. Emerald Super Hydrating Anti-Inflammatory Mountain Edelweiss Under Eye Gel. This is worth $45 and is full size.

 PRODUCTS 5, 6 AND 7....

 I put all of these in the same photo since they are all the same brand and look like a set. They are Judith Jackson products all 1.2oz. The Citresse Conditioning Shampoo is worth $2.50 and the full size is 8oz for $13. The Citresse Conditioner is worth $2.75 and the full size is 8oz at $13.50. The Tenderly Hand & Body Lotion is worth $3 and the full size is 8oz for £15. I'll definitely use the shampoo and conditioner. May use the lotion on my hands.

NOW ONTO PRODUCT 8... 

 Tommy Bahama Traveler's Collection Exotic Coral Bath & Body Gel at 2oz worth $4. The leaflet doesn't say if they have this in a full size version or what price it is so I'm not sure if they do or not. I will be giving this a try though!

PRODUCT 9....

 These are from the same brand as the previous product; Tommy Bahamas. Traveler's Collection Exotic Coral Moisturizing Bath Salts. Sample worth $2. Pretty cool how the card the salts are in can stand! These will also be used.

LAST PRODUCT.. PRODUCT 10! ... 

Another Pure Anada product but this time it is a lip balm .. Elegant Nature Bath & Body Cocoa Mint Lip Balm. I have tons of lip balms and use different ones all the time so this will definitely get used! This is full size worth $3.

Overall very pleased and glad there was something in it that I could give to my mum as part of her birthday.. So I have to say a BIG THANKS to The Natural Beauty Box for that. Although I usually just give things to my mum anyway if I see something that she would most likely use. The total value of the items I will actually use may only total around $17.25 which is around £11.32 but still one was used as a gift that valued $45 which is around £29.54 so I'm delighted. 

All I can really ask for now is the customer service to improve & then everything would be fab because you really need to be patient to be a subscriber which unfortunately a lot of people are not. But it does get worrying when its the next month and you haven't been notified of whats going on yet.

Pokemon Games Arrived!

When I bought these, Amazon said estimated delivery was 2nd May - 10th May so I'm delighted they arrived sooner! It is my birthday on the 26th so perfect timing .. Looks like I'll be spending the next week gaming . I'm currently playing Pokemon Black (yes & writing a blog post) .. I haven't long started it since I was previously playing heart gold, ranger & mystery dungeon explorers of darkness and never really got round to starting it .. Oh and Pokepark 2 for the wii... I have been playing that as well.

This is what I bought : 

 

Pokemon Conquest was £22.99 & Pokemon White 2 was £27.99. 

I got an email saying they received one of the games in sooner than expected and estimated delivery date was moved to 23rd of April. I have a hospital appointment that day so I'm actually even more glad they came earlier otherwise I'd have to get them redelivered or get my mum to go to collect them.

Crisp Cut!

Very pleased with myself. Cut my self down to a maximum of 2 packets of crisps a day. I'm not joking I was hooked and it wasn't healthy at all. I could sit and eat about 8 a day! Safe to say I put on the weight & barely being able to walk does not help either.  I said to myself.. "If I cut myself down to a set amount and start eating healthier I will notice a change soon enough"

I can honestly say I am as addicted to crisps as smokers get with smoking. If i go a day without a packet I end up getting to the point all I want is a packet of crisps and nothing else is good enough.

I also bought clothes that I really liked that are a little on the small side to persuade me to stick to it.

Been about 6 days now and so far so good. Fingers crossed I keep it up!!

My 2nd Lot Of VistaPrint PART-Freebies (Just Pay Postage)

After my first order that only cost me £5.86 for a stamp, 250 business cards, t-shirt and keyring ALL personalised, I was left impressed and took advantage of another email they sent me advertising freebies and to just pay postage. 

This is what I got: 

 A lovely personalised notebook with photos of my choice! As you can see I picked cute photos of my cats. I'll be using the notebook as my notebook for keeping record of any bath bomb recipes I use and writing down what they all smell like in case I want to do the same methods again with the same oils and fragrances I'll know what I used.

Second item was a small printed tote bag. I picked that design out of the ones they already have on their site. I'm sure it will come in handy. I had to pay £1.24 to remove their logo but I didn't mind paying that when everything was only going to be £5.86 otherwise.

Last time I got a Pokemon theme t-shirt & keyring.. This time a mug! 

Overall all 4 items cost £7.11 : £1.24 i had to pay to remove the logo from the bag and £5.87 postage. Bargain! Not sure why postage was 1p more expensive than last time but I still can't complain.

My two favourites are the mug & notebook. Notebook photos are so cute!!!! 

My cats photobombed my photos!

I decided to take photos of clothing items I had stored up to get them swapped on swapz.co.uk .. and whilst taking the photos, my cat Spyro decided to be her usual mischeivious self and she "photobombed" my photos...

Five New Tops!

I bought quite a few pair of different style leggings and needed basic tops to go with it as I didn't want to go overboard with things.

I used to wear a gypsy top constantly.. It was so comfy and stretchy so I didn't feel suffocated but it is far too small now although it gave me the idea to look about for new ones my size. This is what I got:

 

The same tops size 16. I got two black , one red and one grey.  They are very stretchy and comfy. £35 for all 4! I need to lose a slight bit of weight to make these look better on me since I put on weight being unable to walk much but I'm determined to try to get back to the way I was.

The red top I don't think will go with the leggings I bought but I have other stuff to go with that top. The black ones will go with all of them and the grey will go with a few pair. 

This batwing top is supposed to be a 18-20.. But it really shows my "bumpy bits" and excessively curved back (from toe walking) so it is DEFINITELY not a 18-20.. Probably better fit a size 14. It was only £6.99 though. Not sure if I'll wear it , will see what it looks like once I've lost a little bit of weight and get back to the size I was.

The Natural Beauty Box Arrived!!

Well.... It arrive.. March box arrived middle of April. 

Very late again. 

Their lack of contact with customers is still as bad as ever I had to chase up whether this had been posted or not. 

I'll post a blog post later on saying what each product is and value of them and full size value! So keep an eye out.

RelaxAhh Order Arrived & My Thoughts.

 My RelaxAhh order arrived and wow I'm very impressed! Everything is lovely. Lip balms smell yum, soaps smell nice, strawberry body wash smells lovely and tea tree shampoo smells good as well not too overpowering which is good. I've already tried the rosewood & poppyseed exfoliant, honey & vanilla lip balm & tea tree shampoo.. But I will state my opinions below.

The above Rosemary Soap Slice I originally bought as a gift, but it looks too good to giveaway and since I'm already delighted with a few of the products I have tried I decided to keep that to try and get something else as a gift instead!  I just couldn't help myself..

 Not only is this Peppermint Exfoliant a lovely colour, it does actually smell like peppermint!!

 I have never used a solid shampoo before so this was new for me. RelaxAhh have different kinds but I chose Tea Tree because my scalp has been breaking out and getting itchy a lot recently probably because of stress and my hair has been looking really dull and flat. I've also added drops of tea tree essential oil to my alberto balsam conditioners that I use so thought they'd go well together to treat my scalp. 

I have used this and honestly you really wouldn't think I used it! It will last me a good while I think. I think I'll be sticking to solid shampoo's from now on. When I dried my hair, I instantly noticed my hair had more volume in it and looked a lot more healthier & not only that.. I didn't have a itchy scalp! Thumbs up from me!

 I gave this Rosewood & Poppyseed Exfoliant a try the day I got it and again you wouldn't even think I used it! I've tried plenty of soaps in the past to find some can be used once and it looks like you've used it several times and they don't last long so it is great when you can find a nice smelling one that will last a good while. I also found it made my skin feel nice and smooth! Another thumbs up from me.

The Honey & Vanilla Lip Balm has my approval. It really softens the lips and smells lovely! Although I have to be careful.. My cat Spyro tried to run away with it so I think she approves as well.

The bottle I didn't take a separate picture of it , although I thought I did... but anyway it is a strawberry body wash & smells DELICIOUS! 

I really really REALLY hope they don't have to shut their business down. I love their products. All natural, really do work and smell really nice as well so it would be a shame..
